There was a James A. Shahan born August 10, 1813 in Sevier county, Tennessee. Sometime between 1844 and 1865, James and his wife, Anne Montgomery McCallie Shahan, born October 20, 1806, moved to north Georgia in a covered wagon. McCallie not McCulley.
