Lee, He could be part of our family. I don't have the names of the grandchildren of John Shirey except in my line (Catherine Eliza Shirey who married John Appenzeller). But John and Catherine moved to OH, lived there a few years and then moved on to IN. Sometimes families followed the same migration routes. Let me know if you find a connection. I'll do the same.
