Georgia,
This is what I have on Rodolph Snipes.
Parents:James William Snipes and Beedie Snipes ( my grandmothers notes say she is the daughter of John Snipes and Nancy Mitchell,they are first cousins.)
Children were:
1. James Riley Snipes b.Apr.4,1870 d.May 5,1928
2. John Thomas Snipes b. May 5,1872
3. Minnie Bell Snipes b.Dec.1872/3
4. Edward Mire Snipes b.Mar.18,1875 d.May 30,1956
5. Benjamin Atley Snipes b. Oct.19,1878
6. Mary Francis Snipes b.Oct.12,1880
7. Rodolph Snipes b.Nov.25,1882 d.Sept.18,1953
8. Columbus " Lum " Snipes b.Sept.2,1884 d.Dec.3,1965
9. Hettie Ida Snipes b.Oct.12,1886 d.1959

I haven't confirmed all this yet am working on it though. Rodolph was Jessie Burroughs Uncle by marriage but was no blood kin to her from what I can find out. Jessie's dad Arthur Burroughs married Winnie Margaret " Maggie " Beck Sept.21,1897.Their children were:

2. Emma b. Nov.19,1899
3. Jessie b.Feb.14,1901 d. Feb.24,1985
4. Floyd b.Nov.15,1904 d.Dec.8,1981
5. Laura ( twin ) b.Aug.28,1907 d. Apr.4,1945
6. Amond ( twin ) b. Aug.28,1907 d.Apr.4,1945
7. Nora b. Sept.13,1902
