Hello All, The Stephen Wells who married Sarah Jane Snipes was Stephen H. Wells, son of Thomas Lee Wells and Mary Davis. Thomas Lee Wells was a son of Miles and Fruzanna Perry Wells of Bertie, Granville and Caswell Counties, NC. Sarah Jane Snipes was born December 1842.
