I am researching the TINGLE family of Little Dean in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England. William TINGLE baptised 1749 in Little Dean, married Mary PACKER. Some of their children were: James TINGLE 1774- Margaret TINGLE 1781- John TINGLE 1783- George TINGLE 1790- George TINGLE, coal miner and innkeeper married Elizabeth (surname unknown). Their children were: Clara TINGLE 1810-? Clara married Thomas KEAR Mathew TINGLE 1813-1850 Mathew married Amelia MORGAN formerly Amelia BRADLEY Mark TINGLE 1816- Mark married Hannah ROSSER Mathew TINGLE and Amelia had the following children: Elizabeth Ann TINGLE 1838-? Clarissa (Clara) TINGLE 1839-1919. Clara TINGLE married John WIDDEN Jane Hannah TINGLE 1842-? Jane TINGLE married Henry FIELDHOUSE George Mathew TINGLE 1845-1906. George M. TINGLE married Susan EVANS George Mathew TINGLE and Susan EVANS married 1866 in Llanhilleth, Monmouthshire and in 1870 they moved to Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA. In 1875 they moved north to Ontario, Canada. Would love to make contact with others researching the TINGLE family from Littledean, Glos., England.
