Hi Donna, I know it's been over 2 yrs since you posted this message but I thought I'd reply just in case you are still checking out this website. Through my maternal line, I am linked to the Tingle name. My G.Grandmother, Rosina Maud TINGLE, was born in Hanley, Staffordshire in 1883. Her father was William TINGLE (who married Rosina Williams) born in 1858 in Knutton, Staffs. His father was also William TINGLE (who married Camella Greaves) and he was born in 1828 in the area of Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire (info from the 1881 Census). This brings me to the link with your message. Unfortunately, this is all the information I have relating to the Forest of Dean connection as my research until now has been centred on the Staffordshire area. Regards Jacqui Young |
