ROFF, OK - Services for Edward Paul Tingle, 93, Roff, are 2 p.m. Monday at Roff United Methodist Church, the Rev. Jim Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff. Mr. Tingle died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at a Sulphur hospital. He was born June 30, 1911, at Roff to Edward P. and Ida Hughes Tingle. He graduated from Roff High School and attended East Central University for three years and Oklahoma A. & M. for one year. He moved to Grand Prairie, Texas in 1941. Mr. Tingle married Alma L. Price Dec. 11, 1929. She died Sept. 13, 2002. He was employed in aircraft production for General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas, retiring July 6, 1973. He moved back to Roff after his retirement. Mr. Tingle was a member of Roff United Methodist Church, Roff Masonic Lodge and the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include one son, Ed Tingle and his wife Maxine, Roff; two grandchildren, Edward Price Tingle Jr., Grand Prairie, Texas, and Lezlie T. Miranda, Laredo, Texas; and four great-grandchildren, Perry Edward Tingle, Joey Miranda, Augustine Miranda and Julian Miranda. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Tingle and Hattie Mae Bentley; and a brother, Tom Tingle. Bearers are Richie Etchieson, Bob Hatch, James Pope, Charles Morrow, Bill Lee and Gene Garrett. Criswell Funeral Home, Ada
