Looking for any info on Dempsey Sawyer m. Sarah Cartwright b. 1/17/1847 d. 8/30/1924. Children were: Eddie(f), Mary, Walter, Virgil, Willie O.(f), Boss, Toy, Sallie, and Alice. Sarah died in Dyersburg and buried at RoEllen. Census records in 1900 Dyer Co. show Sarah living w/dau. Mary Wagner. A name is all I have for Dempsey...where did he come from and where did he disappear to? Any info will help! Thanks, Teresa |
