Thanks so much for your research. I think Edmund will be one to look into. He and Emma are in Dyer Co. in 1910, Dist. #7 which is the RoEllen area. That is where my Sawyers and Cummings seem to be. I went to the library last night in Jackson and found Joe Cartwright's death cert. There was no info on it that I could use. However, I did find that V.S. aka Vaughn, aka Von, Sawyer's(son of Dempsey and Sarah) given name is James Vaughn Sawyer m. Ina Mae(y) Dunlap. I sure wish I had found you a long time ago, you have been such a big help! Keep in touch, Teresa
