Hi, I guess you already know, there are LOTS of Smiths from Humphreys Co. Both myself & my husband are related to some. I think his are the ones you are looking for. He has: Eli E. Smith b 1/9/1833 d 8/8/1922 and Mary Jane Curtis b 2/10/1836. Their children are: John W., Martha Jane, William Nathaniel, George Thomas, Joshua G, Edie Eudora, James Eli, Samuel Wilson, Henry Mitchell, William Nathaniel & Landy Washington. Also, in my Moms info she has a list of "Soldiers from Tumbling Creek" that includes: From the Civil War - Samuel Smith, Howell Smith, James Smith, and Joseph Smith - that I think was killed in the war. His father was Robert Smith. From WWI - Richard Smith. If you like, I can send yoy an "invite" to my site on MyHeritage and you can see more. Just let me know. Kima Curtis |
