Looking for descendants of the Hezzie Rogers and Donnie who lived near Etowah in McMinn Co. and married in 1928. BIRTH-DEATH-BURIAL: Rootsweb.com; McMinn Co, TN; Jones Chapel Cem., located on Co. Rd 780; Rogers, Hezzie H. b 10-25-1884 d 1-13-1944. Also in the cemetery are Leon W. Rogers 1919-1991 and Sue Pickens Rogers 1924-1973, married Jul 7, 1945. !MARRIAGE-CENSUS: 1930 U. S. Census, McMinn Co, TN, Dist 3, East Etowah, page 177, ED54-10, SD13, Sheet3; East Etowah Road, Dwelling 54, Fam 57; Hezzie H. Rogers, age 44, Rents, no, married at age 43, b TN, parents b GA, car repairer for steam railroad, 7725, not a Veteran; Donnie Rogers, age 21, wife, married at age 10, no, yes, TN, TN, TN. Note, this researcher concludes that Hezzie and Donnie were married in 1928 or 1929. I know about the father and grandfather of Hezzie and would like to share the Rogers information with his descendants. Full name is Henderson Hezikiah Rogers born 25 Oct 1884 TN, d 13 Jan 1944. Married at age 42-43.
