UNION CITY - James A. Tucker, 72, former environmental department employee of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City, died of cancer Wednesday at Beverly Health Care. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dresden. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Martin. Mr. Tucker, the husband of Barbara Lyon Tucker, also leaves three daughters, Sherry Yoshimura of Washington, Wanda Forrester of Troy and Judy Steward of Concord, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Bobbie White of Sharon; a stepson, Mearl Martin of Anaheim, Calif.; four sisters, Frances Suggs of Mountain Home, Ark., Peggy Cochran of Martin, Rebecca Moon of Jackson and Era Sue Tucker of Dresden; two brothers, Richard Tucker and Preston Tucker, both of Dresden, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
