Detra: Haven't corresponed with you in a couple of years. I thought of a connection you might be interested in. The families of Jones, Parker, Morrow (Could this be Marlow?), Penny etc. all lived on the Montgomery/Robertson County line from as early as 1805 until after 1880. Prior to 1830 the county line was moved 3 times and several of these families changed their residence simply because of line changes. Most of these families were Primitive Baptist. David Penny along with his wife Kiziah lived in both counties without ever leaving their home.. One of the Penny daughters married Egbert Marlow (Morrow?) in the early 1820's. By 1820 the Egbett Marlow family had moved to Missouri. |
