Alice--Thanks a lot for this lookup. So, this information is not actually from a cemetery or a tombstone? There's no indication of where the info came from? Do you suppose the person(s) who put the information there obtained it from his application for pension in the National Archives #W-7978 or from the summary in Bobby Moss' "Roster of South Carolina Patriots in the American Revolution", 1983, Genealogical Publishing Co Baltimore MD?
