Hello Pat, I don't believe I am related. None of my Carroll's went to TN that I know of. My Carroll family came from Sampson Co., NC to Thomas Co., GA. After the war they moved to Texas c1870. The Witherington's I am researching in Tipton County descend from my ancestor Sophia King of Sampson Co., NC. Her daughter Ann Herring married Barnabus Witherington.
