Please also CC to Jan Lewis at owleyesc@yahoo.com. She's one of our major Smith researchers and then she shares what we can gather with others of Peyton Randolph and Nancy S. Bass Smith's line. As far as I know none of us have seen a hard copy of Peyton R.'s obituary. I had your husband's ggg grandmother listed but as Frances Patie Smith. How exactly does the name 'Sarah' come in? Was that a nickname? Just wondering since most everything we've found listed her as Frances. She would've been the sister to my GG grandfather, Ephraim Hall Smith, 1833-1926 and Jan's ancestor, Peyton C. Smith 1835-1921. I do hope you will send copies of the contents of Sarah's scrapbook.
