I'm looking for parents and ancestors for Margaret (Mary?)Salina Davis. She was married to James Marshall Hill (1839-1927). I have conflicting information about her. There is a Mary S Hill gravestone at the Salem ARP Church Cemetery that says she is wife of Sam Hill, daughter of L & M Davis (20 Dec 1839-25 Jan 1836) The dates on the gravestone woulod be erroneous since she could not have died inm 1836, but instead 1863. The dates do not conform to other information i have on her showing her dates to be 31 Dec 1839 - 25 Jan 1863) Does anyone have more exact information or can confirm? Also the gravestone for James Marshall Hill (1839-1927) reads H M Hill, 8 May 1839 - 13 Jun 1927. it seems that the person making gravestone was not accurate unless i have been following incorrect data.
