My ancestors Henry FEATHERSTONE and wife Elizabeth MARSHALL moved from VA to land on Goose Creek about 1810. They were already advanced in age. Their widowed daughter Sarah FEATHERSTONE HARDIE also moved from VA about 1815 with some of her children including my ancestor Thomas L. HARDIE. Sarah's husband had been a Methodist minister who withdrew and was part of the group later forming the Christian Church. They originally lived in Smith Co which later was Macon Co. I believe it may now be in Trousdale Co. Anyone have FEATHERSTONE or HARDIE/HARDY ancestors from this area?
