My g-grandmother was born 1883 in Trousdale Co. TN, parents were Alexander William NEWMAN and Nannie BROWNING PROCTOR,(Proctor possibly a married name and Browning her maiden name). The family migrated to TX before 1900, as Pervis married Bartlett COLLIER in Dallas Co. Dec 1900. Any info anyone has on any of these families in Trousdale Co., please contact me, tshan_5@hotmail.com
