I am looking for information on the Baxter Family from Cocke County TN. The Father James Baxter (Mar 1852) married Nancy unknown (Nov 1852), known children Benage, John A, Pleasant, and Stephen. They had six total children and I am trying to confirm Margaret McMahan aka Margaret Lindsey 1880 was also a daughter of theirs. The information would be in the 1890 census wich was destroyed in the fire in Newport, TN. Thanks for any information!
