Thanks again Martin - I went off yesterday and did find a few things on Elspet Scollay but I will have to re-research - the Power went off right after I posted everything to my notepad before I could save it - GONE! SCREAM!

I did find this tho posted here on another CT. TRAIL -
#darn, I lost the number but it was CONNECTICUT TRAILS from George -

It appears from recent research that there may be another ancient American branch of Trails that hailed from Connecticut. I first found a Samuel Trale that fought in the Revolution for a Connecticut militia in 1776. Then I found a Samuel Trayal and Jacob Trayal, likely brothers, who were both hospitalized in the French Indian War while fighting in the same unit of a Connecticut militia in the year 1759. Samuel Trale of 1776 and Samuel Trayal of 1759 are undoubtedly the same man and I have to wonder if Jacob Trayal of 1759 is the same Jacob Trail who appears in New Jersey in 1782. Furthermore there is record of a marriage at Connecticut in 1706 between a Mary Traille and William Cross.

Take Care - gotta run-
Sam
