It is McLeod, not Macloud. They were a prominent family of Lewis Island. I have a copy of the transcription of the headrights claimed for bringing that Robert Beall and others over. I doubt this is the same family but have never heard of any descendants. I saw mention of his sons fighting in the Rev. War. and they were not the same children of the Robert Beall who was brother to Alexander and James Beall.
