Melissa,

I just came across a couple of things that might aid you in your search for Else.

1) In Cathy Berger's compilation of Shanks work on the Op den Graeff's,etc., It shows Abraham (b. 1651-1731) m. Catherine (Trinkje) Jansen lived in Germantown, Skippack, Perkiomen, PA, and had the following children: (1) Isaac; (2) Gertien m. Richard Addams; (3) Jacob (1687-1750). (The above mentioned Abraham is one of the original 3 brothers who came to PA in 1683 on the Concord)

2) I found in Kindred Konnections while doing a search on Castleberry the following information:

Ralph Adams b. ?
m. Alse Opdengraeff (b. in Holland)
Children: Margaret, b. ?

Margaret m. Paul Castleberry (b. abt. 1709)

Although the above information may not be entirely accurate, it's kind of close to what your looking for, and may help give you some clues to go on. I don't know whether Else or Alse would be another version of Gertien, but I'll ask around -- but aside from her name, everything seems to fit more or less.

The information in Kindred Konnections was submitted by Jerry H Collins, e-mail address: Jerry_H_Collins@msn.com

Good luck on your search.
