Rachel I was looking up Villanueva, New Mexico and came across this message. I used to be married to a man whos grandmother was born in Villanueva. Her last name was Villanueva and she married a man named Baros. Many years ago we went to Villanueva and it was so beautiful. My mother in law had an aunt who still lived there and I met some of her cousins. This was back in the 70's.
