My Vogt ancestors came from Esslingen(sp) in Germany. There was Jacob Frederich and Christiana.Two of their children were George and Gottlieb Vogt. I know that George Vogt and his family moved to Louisville KY. This family eventually moved to Alabama. This is all I know. There may be a connection as they lived in the same area of the country.
