I have a John Wainwright (a furnace man & puddler) who married Mary Ann Prescott 1829 in Kingswinford, Stourbridge, Stafford. They had at least 2 children - Jane 1844 and Betsy Louisa 1848, both in Wordsley, Kingswinford, Stourbridge, Stafford. I see that your Ellen and her children live at Wordsley Terrace in Kingswinford so the location is a very good match. I am wondering if your original William could be a nephew or even a son to my John. My husband is a descendant of both Jane and Betsy as they both married into his line at different points. I have no record of male relatives for John or of any emigrants but would love to find a link if possible.
