Zero-in on Tug River PO.

On 30 Sept. 1847, George Whitt had land grant in Tazewell
Co., VA for 18 acres on "Tug River." (Grant Book 99 page
469).

McDowell Co., WVA was formed from Tazewell Co., VA in
1858.
