hi margaret, my info' is that William PLUMMER married Jane YARDLEY ON MAR.17, 1762 in a Dutch Reformed Church. She was a widow, but I can't find more yet.Quaker records are extremely good so you should be able to get an answer if she had formerly been one. I find that a Samuel Yardley died in 1759. This is probably the son of Thomas of Prospect Farm, as Thomas's brother Richard of SOLEBURY also had a son Samuel, but he had married an Ann Hough. As yet no further details. Interesting to see the family christian name tradition - the first Samuel was William's youngest brother, baptised in 1648.The second, Thomas senior's eldest son, still has his grave near the family home in Horton, staffordshire. bye peter |
