Hi Judy, Most of these folks are in my line, one way or another. (Maria) Susannah Yerdon m. John Closs are my GGG Grand parents. They had a bunch of children, 2 of which were John Closs who married Betsy Ann Yerdon, my GG Grandparents, and George Closs m. Lana Yerdon. Family ledgend has Peter Yerdon m. Catherine Closs sister of John Closs who married Maria Yerdon above. Peter and Catherine had a bunch of children. One was Betsy Ann Yerdon, my GG Grandmother, who married John Closs above. Another was Catherine Yerdon who married a Dashnaw (or Dashah, or maybe your Dashner). Another was Lana who married George Closs above. Another was Oliver Yerdon who married Catherine St. Peters. They had a bunch of kids, one being Walter - he may be your Walter. Betsy Yerdon and John Closs had a bunch of children. One, Emma Josesphine Closs married Charles Henry Plumtree (Prunier), my G Grandparents. Another, John Webster Closs married Winifred Yerdon who had Oliver and Sarah Closs. Oliver Closs was at one time living on a farm in Town of Fowler with a Hazel Yerdon MacIntosh. She sounds like your line big time. I don't know a Eva Yerdon m. Ralph Whitford as of yet. These familes, the Closs and Yerdon, are a real intermixed crowd. It doen't get much clearer as you go along. I have a couple of files with info that Emma Closs above recited to her daughter, my Great Aunt, which is the best source I have for this data. Drop me an e-mail and I'll send them off to you.
