would like to receive/share data on ancestors and decendents of Peter Isaac Champenois a native of Boygancy(may be Anglicized)France 1 Aug 1769. Arrived New York 1801 from Nantz. Initially married in Philadelphia(?),PA to Mary Bush and then to Drusilla Pipkins in either MS or AL. Had 3 children by each wife; only son from 1st marriage was Stephen Charles 17 Jul 1816(who may be an ancestor to any Champenois still in PA). Two sons by 2nd wife, Isaac and Simon Peter who lived in Mobile. Have data aon several other generations who moved to MS near Civil War; John Frankin Champenois served in 3rd Ala Cavalry until captured and held at Camp Morton, IN.
