Henry Champenois may have been a relative of Pierre Isaac Champenois; he was also known as Peter. Peter Isaac Champenois arrived in Philadelphia in 1801 and married Mary Bush in 1811 and had 3 children. I do not know for certain if these two men are related, but the fact that you have 2 Champenois men in Philadelphia near the same point in time is interesting. Pierre Isaac Champenois was born in beaugency, France in 1769 and departed NANTES, FRANCE, in 1801 for Philadelphia.
