My wife was born Patricia Ann Champney 9/8/48 Topeka, KS. Parents George Washington Champney, born 1/8/1917 and Naomi Ruth Gassett born 4/12/**, married February 1943 born and married in Oklahoma.
George, my father-in-law was the youngest and now only surviving child of George Washington Champney 1855-1924 and second wife Lorena Harper 1875-1954 married 1895. First wife was Nellie Crossfield, died early 90s. He had nine children grow up, three by first, six by second wife.
GWC born 1855 Wisconsin, was the son of George Washington Champney and wife Tacy. At this point, knowledge runs out. Anyone see a connection to their Champney family? Thanks.
