In this Will you will fine name John Underhill & John Hunt. It was proved April 12,1669 York Co.Va. His Chandler issue were Robert ,John, Francis (male) and Mary. I have no reason to believe he had any other children. Because, at this time, I think one would leave something for children to live. This Robert's wife was Eliz.
And In York Co.Va. records Deed of sale dated Jan 31, 1657/58. of Robert Thompson of the parish of Chiscake sell to Robert chandler of same planter, one brown cow.
Also, in this Will is John Underhill & John Hunt. This John Underhill had son John Underhill of Felgate Creek ,died 1672 York Co.Va.Had dau Jane who married Robert Hyde of York Co.va. Robert Hyde was a Lawyer in York Co.va.They had dau Mary Hyde married John Saunders son of John Saunders d. 1730 Goochland Co.Va. & Mary Risle. This is so strange to me as Richard Chandler & Eliz Carter (in Richard's Will Saunders are in it.) Julus Saunders ,George & Jesse where bros to Eliz Saunders who married William Bond in Albemarle, they had Mourning Bond who married John Carter said bro to Eliz Carter marr Richard Chandler. John Saunders in Goochland & Henrico records and also Julus Sanders /Saunders. Julus Saunders Sr was father to Eliz, Jesse , John, and more in Abbemarle /Fluvanna Co. Va. Any way all these names like Hunt ,The William Allen married last mary Hunt widow of Robert minge ,William Allen died 1751 Albemarle Co.Va. and he had dau Joyce Allen marr 1st John Easley then Joel Chandler.
Conincedence or not ?? My Richard Carter Chandler line had names Richard Allen Chandler & John Burton Chandler Seems to be names from Va. families??? !!!
Will Proven 1724 New Kent Co.va. William Bassett his estate was in hands of Capt John Underhill his guardian & father in law (strpfather)dau frances Horsley & Ann Moore these show up in Albemarle co.va.
I think Richard Chandler b 1730 or earlier who married 2nd Eliz Carter was from one of the sons of this Robert Chandler & Eliz . Is this Eliz Palmer?? does date fit??
