Syble, there are many many William Chandlers, without some dates or approx. dates and places where they lived it is almost impossible to figure out which one.

Any information you can add to your post will make it much easier to find your grandfather's family. What was your grandmother's name? What were the names of your grandfather's children? Are any of them alive?

When was your father born? Where was your father born? Even that, can help narrow down which Chandler family they are.
