You may want to follow the Richard Chandlers, there was
a sr. and jr. The jr. ended up from Davidson, TN to
Cherokee Co., TX during the TX Rev. Since he came to
Texas, Sam Houston and Jackson must have known him. Jr.
lived close to George Washington Davis in TX and Davis
widows were buried in the Piney Woods Cemetery, and cared
for Davis children after the two widows died. Jr. was
married to Bethenia Crittenden. They had a no. of children
one dying in the Civil War at Mansfield, LA...Wiley that
was married to a Van Zant.
