I lost your email address---please send again. Am interested in the connection of your Chandler's to Joel Chandler Harris. I remember you said it was through a great-grandfather, but wondered what his name was. Am STILL trying to find the parents of Allen Chandler of Greenville, SC----am just not convinced that it was Henry??? I also have a Davenport connection through Allen Chandler's wife, Temperance Davenport. In fact the land that the Chandler's lived on in Greenville county, SC was a wedding gift to Tmeperance and Allen from her parents---know that she (Temperance) had a sister named Sisaly----my notes are "somewhere".
