Decendants of John CHANDLER (b. 1805 NC):
Weldon CHANDLER (1836-1863) Married to Martha CREWS (1833-1877) Weldon died in 1863 during the Civil War in Mississippi possibly by disease or fighting in and around Vicksburg.
Weldon and Martha had at least one son named Monroe Brown CHANDLER (b. 9 February 1850 in Kentucky and died 21 March 1929)
Monroe Brown CHANDLER Sr. (1850-1921) married Annie Mae ADAMS (1881-1956) abt. 1908 in Center, Shelby County, Texas. They had three children.

Frank Calvin CHANDLER (1906-1987)
Monroe Brown CHANDLER Jr. (1909-1988)
Monroe Brown CHANDLER Jr. (1909-1988) Married Sallie Mae Burton (1911-1978) on 9 November 1926 in Center, Shelby County, Texas. They had at least two children.
Joe Ben CHANDLER Sr. (1934-2002)
Helen Marie CHANDLER (1939-1948)
Joe Ben CHANDLER Sr. married Jo Ann Calcote (1936-2008) on 1 April 1955 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
Joe Ben CHANDLER Sr. and Jo Ann Calcote are my mother's (Margaret Ann CHANDLER) parents.
My mother and I have been working on this line for awhile, but we have not been able to go back any further than the above listed John Chandler.
