Louis Napoleon Charbonneau Family
Louis Napoleon Charbonneau, Sr., was born 8 Mar.1837 (his cemetery monument cites 1836), Trois River, Canada. He married Permelia Jane Evans, 1 Dec. 1857 at Keithsburg, Mercer County, Illinois. Permelia was born 13 Feb. 1838 (her cemetery monument cites 1837), at Columbus, Franklin, Ohio. Louis Sr. died 16 Feb. 1903 at his home in Keithsburg, Illinois. Permelia died 9 May 1907 at the home of her son Louis Napoleon Charbonneau, Jr. near Oakville, Iowa. Louis Sr., and Permelia are buried in the Greenmound Cemetery in Keithsburg, Illinois.
Louis, Sr. and Permelia had seven children of which five grew to adulthood. The children are:
