Hi,
I'm a descendent of Louis Napoleon Charbonneau as well. The family story passed down that way through my family too (Sacajawea), but there was a gentleman named Louis Schleuger (mother was Eva Charbonneau), who researched the line exhaustively and if i remember right, he found that the Louis Napoleon line was descended of either Toussaints brother, or uncle, i cant remember which.

Does anyone know how to get hold of Louis Schleuger? He put out a book on CD, with many photographs and family descendency 5 years ago or so, but i lost touch with him as i was moving at the time, and have not been able to locate him again. I would still love to get that CD.

Thanks - please email me at jcharb8@msn.com
