Danny, it sounds as if you may have the information that I need. Mary Ann Cheadle m. Issac/Isaac Moncrief. Was he s/o Calab Moncrief of AL? That is the only Moncrief in the area that I can find with a son, Isaac.
The main bit of information that I need is Rebecca (Becky) Riddle m. Thomas F. Cheadle, Jr. Do you by chance have the maiden name of Becky's mother? I have the sworn statement of Margaret Hall Moncrief concerning Martin Van Buren Cheadle stating that his mother was her cousin and that although he was claiming to be Chickasaw, he had no Chickasaw blood in him - that he was Choctaw and that his mother's mother was full blood Choctaw. He states that he has always lived with the Chickasaws and always claimed to be Chickasaw and wishes to be on the Chickasaw Roll and not the Choctaw Roll.
I am actually looking for the maiden name of Margaret Hall Moncrief's mother, Susan _ _ Hall that m. Wm. Hall. I have many pages of facts on the Cheadle, Riddle, Walker, etc. families, but cannot tie any of them together to find Susan's parents. Any help from all of the information that you have will be appreciated. I have spent many years looking for this.
