Jerry and Debra,
This is an old post I know, but hope very much that you will see this and get in touch with me. I was born and raised in Texas several miles from where Aaron and John Cherry settled when they came to Texas. They each had a Mexican Land grant of 4,248.40 acres each. From land records I believe that John immigrated to Texas from Ohio in 1821 followed by Aaron in 1822 from Ohio. Aaron had four children and a wife, John had four in his family but it did not state if any of those were his children, I can only guess that it was he, his wife and two children.
