I am searching for information on Owen Childress who married Ora Sparks and had a daughter, Dorothy F. Childress, who was born in 1943 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Owen and Ora Sparks Childress later lived in Memphis, Tennessee and was living there when Ora died during the mid-1960's.
I have found a Richard Owen Childress (22 March 1909-7 March 1986), a son of William Edward Childress and Essie Autry. Richard Owen Childress died in Jefferson County, Kentucky, and was buried in the Green River Union Cemetery in Warren County, Kentucky. I was unsure if this person might be the Owen Childress who married Ora Sparks?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
