I've done little else with the family that could help explain more about Henry. I can recommend this site as a good one that helps with locating the different Childers. Like you said, if they live close their more likely to be connected.

A few things to note: The Henry at Appomattox is not in Albemarle, but Henrico (later in Chesterfield.) He married a Mary Farmer and moved to Lunenburg.

I think the Abraham on Bremo (later Fluvanna Co.) and the Abraham on Rockfish (Amherst) were two different men. This is where its' most difficult to figure out and how Benjamin and others ended up under Abraham. But John seems to work out better. IF you think otherwise let me know. Always good to have a fresh pair of eyes checking through this.
