Hi - am searching for info to prove/disprove Guilford Bush Childress' (1838-1896) father as Guilford Pleasant Childress (1795-1865). I have searched and cannot find anything of record with "Pleasant" on it. As a matter of fact, I have found several things with Guilford "I" Childress that seem to match up. I believe the father to have been married twice - m1 to Miss Niny Collins in Georgia 1818 (found in several indexes); m2 to Dorotha ????, mother of Guilford Bush (son), found on several census records. Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!
