Hi,
I saw your posting on messageboard of Christenberry's. I truly hope you can help me. My gggrandfather Pinkney CARTER married Mary Maria CHRISTENBERRY in Henry co, TN in 1866. I'm hoping since you have both of these surnames, maybe we have a match. I have been looking for info on Pinkney Carter's parents for over 6 months. NO LUCK. Pinkney and Mary had 3 children, a daughter Lennie R. Carter, son Willie, and a son Pinkney C. Carter, my ggrandfather. I know Pinkney and Mary lived in Carroll co, TN McLemoresville in 1870 and 1880. Pinkney was listed in the 1891 veterans schedule for Weakley co, TN. They lived in Obion co, TN in 1910. He was living in Memphis, Shelby co, TN with grandson Neal Bowden in 1920. Mary must've died. Pinkney died in 1925. Do any of these names sound familar? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
