I am trying to find out if my great-great-great-great grandfather served in the Civil War or not. This is just about all the info I have on him and his family. I have further Census info for the ones listed above. I can not find him in the 1860 or 1870 census. His names have been listed as. A. Harris, A.B. Harris, Alsie (Absie) Harris. I do not know if his name was Alsie or Absie. Can someone helpe me please. TIA
