by the order of Maj. Gen. Homane (The Name is Hard to Read).

He could have been required to take the oath some people were others just sent home. I am not very smart in this area of the war I am sure someone here can tell you. I found this information on a database on Ancestry.com if you would like to see the image I can send it to you by email.
