As mentioned in another post, I can provide copies of this man's military service file. Warren must have been captured while at home, as his regiment was then serving in East Tennessee. No fighting near Humphries County at this time.
Spelling was not an exact practice at this time. Clerks usually spelled a name the way it sounded to them.
