According to Cival War pension index from National Archives
John Haberman, who served as a Private in Company "G" 84th New York Infantry received an invalid's (Old Age)pension July 18,1888. His pension file SHOULD contain the information you seek.
(application # 664398 Certificate # 492091)
died March 20,1912
