My ancestor was a Confederate soldier who was injured in battles around Richmond, VA in battles from 26 June, 1862 to 1 July, 1862. He was admitted to "Soldiers Home Hospital" on 2 July, 1862. Is this hospital still around and preserved or was it destroyed after the war?
